I'm about to embark on a 2 month long wander for my holidays beginning with a 24 hour 'hop' from Sydney to Bangkok to London. How I wish your article could be compulsory reading for all my fellow travellers. Imagine what a wonderful travel experience we'd ALL have. *I'd only add one more consideration - if you know you need frequent bathroom visits or leg-stretching breaks don't request a window seat.
